In the Mind of Israel
Michael Yadegari was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Los Angeles where he grew up and currently lives. He attended UCLA where he graduated with many honors. Michael felt his education was not complete without a JD/MBA so he decided to go to Chapman University in Orange, CA.
At Chapman Michael, became the president of the Jewish Law Student s Association as well as creating and founding the Chabad at Chapman. The reason he created the Chabad, although he saw that Hillel was doing a great job at promoting Judaism in the liberal sense, was that he wanted to establish a more traditional grounding in the school. He collaborated with the Chabad Rabbi of Tustin, Rabbi Shuey Eliezie to help his create the group.
In the Summer of 2008, Michael decided to travel to Israel to study abroad at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Israel. He was appalled at the answers people gave him when Michael told them he was going to Israel. He decided to make a documentary showing the true faces of Israel and the real mentality unbiased showing what real Israelis think of the country and it’s future. In April 2009, Michael completely finished editing and producing his first documentary titled, “In the Mind of Israel: a solution for peace”
Michael continues to live in Los Angeles promoting the film in order to create a more tolerant mindset throughout the world.
